Woke up this morning and my damn right shoulder was all tight. Was fine yesterday when I went to bed. Anyway, I’m less than two weeks out, so today was to lift up until my first attempt –which is about 85% of my expected last attempts on the platform.
• Squat: 135×7, 225×5, 245×5, 265×5, 305×3, 345×3.
• Bench Press: 95×7, 115×5, 135×5, 205×5, 235×3, 265×1. (Bench felt really good today.)
• Deadlift: 135×8, 225×5, 315×5, 340×5, 395×3, 445×1.
That last deadlift seem to break a little slow off the floor. Well, that concludes all the heavy stuff. Next week, probably Monday, I will just run through my warmups and spend most of the week with some walking, rolling, and dynamic/static stretching. I’m feeling really good at this point and excited to do this meet that I’ve spent the last 10 weeks training for.
