Meet Prep 2.1

I’ve got a the whole week off– a much needed vacation from my job. I haven’t had one solid week away since I started there 4.5 years ago. Hopefully, the carry-over will help me be nice and rested for this weekend’s USAPFL Pure Fitness Open. If anything, I won’t be so sore from sitting at my desk all day and that alone will help. I just went in this afternoon to run my warm-ups — the rest of the week will be walking and mobility and stretching — and some weight cutting.

SQUAT:  135×7, 225×5, 315×3.

BENCH PRESS:  135×7, 185×5, 225×3.

DEADLIFT: 135×7, 225×5, 315×3, 405×1.

My spirits are high and feel really good headed into this meet. My bench feels terrific. Welcome back old friend! I can’t wait to do this meet and then get back into some training. I miss the training grind immensely.
