Arg, what a terrible morning in the gym today, so bad you could call it the “No good deed goes unpunished edition.” I had trouble hitting dept squatting, and sustained a “minor” injury which I will explain more later.

Second workset of 315 lbs. Depth, hello?

Top set 350. Didn’t even break parallel. Fuck me running.

Top set push press.

  1. Squat: 135×7, 150×5, 185×5, 225×3, 275×5, 315×3, 250×6, 195×10,10,10,10,13.
  2. Push Press: 45×5, 65×5, 80×5, 95×3, 150×6.
  3. Standing Rear DB Flyes: 35×12, 40×10, 45×8, 50×8. (Go up).
  4. DB Floor Press: 60×8,8,8,16. (+5 lbs).
  5. Inverted Row: 4×10.
  6. Push-up: 25,15.

TOTALS: 34 sets. 292 reps. 25,725 lbs.

Between set 10 and 11 squatting, I got interrupted by a woman at the door. Her car had broken down and she didn’t have a cell phone (didn’t know how to work one) nor did she have a car club or car insurance. I let her use my phone, but it took 15 minutes for her to remember her brother’s telephone number and me dialing wrong numbers. Then I get under the bar and pinch a nerve in my neck — I still got everything in.

But just arg. Arg. I may skip tomorrow if I cannot make my neck feel better before then.
