Tuesday Workout 3A

As I’m standing in line waiting to vote in the primary, might as well as log this morning’s session.

  1. Squat (L): 135×7, 150×5, 185×5, 225×8,8, 185×8, 150×10, 135×10. Unexpectedly grindy today.
  2. Bench Press (M): 45x3x12 (3O secs apart), 115×10, 135×7, 150×5, 185×3, 225×7, 135x3x10. Really working on recapturing my groove again. Chest is in some pain after this, but not terribly. Still, might be last BP session until next week.
  3. Standing Rear DB Flyes: 30×12, 35×10, 45×6.

TOTALS: 26 sets, 161 reps. 21,465 LBS.

With the primaries today and both lingering injuries, I didn’t quite get in all the work I wanted, but still, a pretty good session.

Not sure how the rest of the week will shake out. Tomorrow I’ll do a push/pull and then run my mobility program until Saturday where I will deadlift under 70-75% and take Sunday off — unless I get that bug to train.
