051B – 351 – SPG

Brisk, wet 43º this morning and I was moving slow and cranky, but I got it done.

  1. Squat (H): 135×7,7, 150×5, 185×5, 225×3, 260×4, 295×3, 330×8, 260×12.  Met the rep goal of 8, but I think I had two more reps in me. Oh well.
  2. Barbell Row: 80×7, 110×7, 120×7, 140×5, 160×3, 180×14, 140×12. Easy work.
  3. DB Dumbbell Rows: 105x4x8.
  4. Standing Rear DB Flyes: 25×12, 45x4x8
  5. 13 Min. Metcon :
    A. 8″ Box Jumps: 15 reps. 3 rounds.
    B. 1-Arm DB Push Snatch: 25×10 reps. 3 rounds.

TOTALS: 31 sets, 259 reps, 25,065 LBS.

For that  Metcon finisher, I just didn’t have the gas today, and I really didn’t do a good job of activating my hamstrings. I only did three rounds and left at least one more round on the floor. Boy am I out of shape, but at least my squats are strong.
