Got out last night and saw The Melvins (long time favorite band) and Napalm Death. Not only did I get to see some friends I haven’t seen in years, but was up past midnight (first time in years) and got a late start.
- Squat (M): 135×7,7, 150×5, 185×5, 225×3, 260×3, 295×10, 225×15.
- Front Squat: 135×8,8,8,12.
- Bench Press: 110×10, 135×5, 165×3, 190×3, 225×8, 245×6, 190×12, 135×12.
- 10 Min Metcon, 4 Rounds: 15 lateral box jumps, 10 KB swings.
TOTALS: 20 est, 150 reps, 26,215 LBS
Top set bench press should have been 8 reps, missed by 2 because I misread my chart. First time benching in a month or more. Groove just not there yet, but the pain is negligible. But it seems I keep finding new ways to injury myself: I gashed the bottom of my left knuckle on my middle finger by smashing it between my door and the car parked next to me side view mirror. Lots of blood all over the parking lot, looks like a massacre. Hopefully it will mend by Tuesday the start of the next cycle.
