Slept really good last night. Head on the pillow at 830, up at 230 for first potty break, and then up again at 3:40 ready to go.

  1. Squat: 135×10,7, 150×5, 185×5, 225×3, 280×5,5, 315×5 (with pause), 240×15.
  2. Push Press: 45×10, 65×5, 80×5, 95×3, 100×5, 120×5, 135×5, 80×15.
  3. BB Shrug: 225x4x8. Concentrate on slow contraction/long pause at top.
  4. Shoulder GiantRobot Set:
    A. DB Side Lateral Raise: 12x3x15.
    B. Front DB Raise: 12×15.
    C. Banded Face Pullers (Blue): 3×15.
  5. 13 Minute Metcon 4 rounds: Box jumps: 15, 1-Arm DB Snatch: 10 reps.

TOTALS: 39 sets, 385 reps, 27,735 LBS.

Everything moved really well this morning which is something of surprise at times, because yesterday squatting weight lower than 60% didn’t feel very good. Today, pausing 315 lbs was bliss!  And to think, three plates used to unease me and now four plates are quickly inhabiting my comfort zone. Also, push press, I think I am finally on the cusp of  understanding this lift.
