Maybe it’s due to the fact that this is the fourth consecutive day I’ve trained, because I had zero energy this morning.
- Front Squat: 135×5, 140×5, 170×3, 185×5, 215×5, 240×5, 185×12.
- Bench Press (M): 115×12, 135×7, 165×5, 190×5, 225×8. Starting to feel much better, strength not quite back.
- Push Press (M): 45×10, 65×5, 80×5, 95×3, 110×5, 125×5. These sessions are more about training the movement than building strength.
- DB Floor Press: 40x4x12. Big emphasis on the contraction/lockout and not the pump.
TOTALS: 22 sets, 148 reps, 17,310 lbs.
It’s a cold, rainy day today and after I train my client, I hope to rest and nap as much as my kindergartener will allow me too, because all the heavy stuff starts next week Tuesday.
