071A – HMVII

Today was a return back to powerlifting programming now that the back is nearly 100%. I’ve knocked off a total of 100 pounds between squat and deadlift — 50 pounds a piece.

  1. Hanging Leg Raises: 28.
  2. Squat (L): 135×9, 175×7, 205x3x10. These felt really good today.
  3. Bench Press (H): 115×7, 145×5, 175×3, 205×3, 235×3, 265×7, 205×10. Missed rep goal by 1.
  4. Hyperextenstions: 4×15.
  5. DB Flyes: 30×12, 35x3x12. 
  6. 1o Minute Conditioning, 4 rounds: 5 pull-ups, 15 decline push-ups, 35# plate raises 15.

Over the last three weeks, I am beginning to see a pattern that I have not been achieving my rep goals on the bench press. It does feel like I am not holding my tightness as I bench so who knows.
