Not only is it back to AM training and a new program, it’s a return to updating my training blog. First up, bench press.
- Hanging Leg Raise: 10.
- Bench Press: 115×7, 145×5, 175×4, 190×5, 220×5, 250×13 (rep goal +1), joker sets: 275×5, 285×5, 300×4 – all rep PRs. 190×18 – rep PR too!
- BB Floor Press: 135×5, 205×8,8,8,7.
- Cable Crossover: 25x4x25.
- Rope Pushdowns: 60x4x12.
I made the effort to mobilize 10 minutes before I began the workout and I think it assisted me in having a really great session today.
Also, It’s been a long time since I’ve had a session like this, much less a bench session. I’ve put in a lot of extra work to improve my BP over the last six weeks so it’s rewarding to have a day like this.
